Motorola’s board of directors has 12 seats, and billionaire investor Carl C. Icahn wants one of them, AP reported.
Icahn filed a nomination notice with the Schaumburg, Ill.-based company Monday, according to AP.
The investor and his entities own 33.5 million shares of Motorola, or roughly 1.4% of the company's outstanding shares, AP reported.
Motorola told AP it is reviewing Icahn's nomination.
