12/11/2003 11:50 AM Eastern

MSNBC will telecast its second in a series of live debates with the Democratic presidential candidates Jan. 11 from 8 p.m.-10 p.m. EST.

The debate, organized by MSNBC and the Iowa Brown and Black Presidential Forum -- a nonpartisan minority-issues organization co-chaired by Latino leader Mary Campos and Iowa Rep. Wayne Ford -- will focus on where the candidates stand on issues concerning voters of all ethnicities.

Lester Holt, MSNBC anchor and co-host of NBC’s Weekend Today, will preside over the debate, scheduled for the Polk County Convention Center in Des Moines, along with Telemundo anchor Maria Celeste Arrarás.
