Paul Catterson was tapped to oversee West Works Studios, formerly Comcast Media Center Production Services. He will retain his role as senior director of broadcast engineering at the Comcast Media Center, based in Denver.

John Titus was named area vice president of operations at Comcast’s Freedom Region, comprising Bucks and Montgomery Counties, Pa., and Mercer, Monmouth, Ocean and Somerset Counties, N.J. A 20-year U.S. Navy veteran, he was director of operations, supply chain business systems for the Navy Weapons System Support Command.

Megan Ring advanced to senior vice president, production at Comedy Central. She was VP.

André Montambeault has joined visualeffects firm Rodeo FX as creative director, senior flame artist and colorist in its Advertising Division.

TIME WARNER CABLE

Todd Baxter has joined Time Warner Cable as regional vice president, government relations for Texas, based in Austin. He was general counsel with the Texas Cable Association.

Howard Shimmel was named senior vice president, Ad Sales & Sports Research at Turner Broadcasting System. He comes from Nielsen, where he had served as executive VP, Nielsen Media & Advertising Analytics.

Kate Schumaecker has joined Universal Cable Productions as vice president, development and current programming. She was VP at ISBE Productions.

VIACOM

Viacom International Media Networks— The Americas has promoted Marisol Amaya to senior director, programming acquisitions, responsible for MTV, VH1 and Comedy Central Latin America, as well as U.S. network Tr3s: MTV, Musica y Mas. She had been director, programming acquisitions of the three Latin American networks.
