Cablevision's iO Gets ESPN Today

ESPN Today is launching on Cablevision Systems Corp.'s iO: Interactive
Optimum service Monday.

ESPN Today offers on-demand video highlights, interviews, commentary and
analysis, as well as on-demand scores, news and statistics. The content can be
accessed through iO's main menu, the electronic program guide or from channel
143.

In other interactive-TV news, MetaTV Inc. said Scientific-Atlanta Inc.
certified its platform for digital set-tops. Cox Communications Inc. plans to
roll out MetaTV on its advanced digital platform.

And Pioneer New Media Technologies Inc. said Blue Ridge Communications in
Blue Ridge, Pa., will deploy 'PassTime Games' from Pioneer.

The gaming application includes a portfolio of interactive games that allows
viewers to play games while still watching other television programs.

'We feel that our progressive interactive deployments will reduce digital
churn and spur growth in our system,' Blue Ridge general manager Mark
Masenheimer said in a prepared statement.
