Comcast, Radio Station Give Away PCs

4/09/2002 3:46 AM Eastern

In an effort to call attention to its high-speed Internet service, Comcast
Cable Communications Inc. said Monday that it will team up with Philadelphia
radio station KYW Newsradio to give away as many as 90 free computers.

The promotion -- which starts Thursday and runs through May 21 -- will also
offer radio listeners the opportunity to select local schools to receive free
computer labs.

Each Thursday during the promotion, 15 local listeners will be named on-air.
If they call the radio station within the allotted time, they win a PC, a
printer and broadband Internet access from Comcast.

Winners can also name the local school they want to see entered into the
drawing to win one of 10 computer labs.

To be eligible for the promotion, local listeners can call the radio station
or register online at www.kyw1060.com.
