AT&T Broadband executive vice president of programming Matt Bond will
leave the post effective Friday, Sept. 28, to join former boss Leo J. Hindery
Jr. at the upstart Yankees Entertainment and Sports Network, according to MSO
sources.

Bond reunites with YES president and CEO Hindery, who served as CEO of
AT&T Broadband in 1999.

Bond was hired by Tele-Communications Inc. in 1992. By 1997, he was named
executive vice president of programming for the company. AT&T Corp.
purchased TCI in 1999.

It's unclear what role Bond will play in the New York-based regional sports
network, which is set to launch next spring.
