Robert Miron, chairman and CEO of Advance/Newhouse Communications, is
scheduled to testify Wednesday before the Senate Subcommittee on Antitrust,

Miron last week was reappointed to the executive committee of the National
Cable & Telecommunications Association.

A/N controls about 2.1 million cable customers as a result of last June's
partnership restructuring with Time Warner Entertainment.

Also scheduled to testify are News Corp. chairman Rupert Murdoch, DirecTV CEO
Eddy Hartenstein, The Precursor Group CEO Scott Cleland and Gene Kimmelman of
the Consumers Union.
