VOD Rollouts Lift Concurrent

1/25/2002 9:27 AM Eastern

Powered by video-on-demand rollouts at Time Warner Cable, Concurrent Computer
Corp. reported a profit of $56,000 in its second quarter, versus a net loss of
$4.2 million in the prior-year period.

The company reported revenue of $22.5 million during the quarter ended Dec.
31, compared with $14.5 million in the year-earlier span.

Most of the increase came from its Xstreme VOD division, where quarterly
revenues jumped to $12.4 million from $1.8 million.

President and CEO Jack Bryant expects VOD-division revenue to be in the $12
million to $14 million range for each of the next two quarters, paced by the
five to seven new VOD rollouts Concurrent expects in the first
quarter.
