Showtime and Marnier Lapostolle Inc.'s 'Grand Marnier' are teaming up for
the 'Soulful Summer Sweepstakes,' a promotional tie-in to support the third
season for the network's original series, Soul Food.
Posters in stores that sell Grand Marnier will support the sweepstakes
promotion, as will a 30-second promo spot on Showtime and 60-second spots on
radio stations in the top 10 DMAs.
The grand prize in the sweeps, which will run now through Sept. 4, will be a
banquet for 20, including food, drinks, DJ and limousine service -- all valued
at $10,000. First prize, to be awarded to 25 entrants, will be Weber-Stephen
Products Co. 'Genesis' gas grills.
Consumers can enter via www.sho.com or via mail-in entries available at
stores carrying Grand Marnier.
The promotion will also call attention to the relaunch of
the Soul Food
Web site, additions to which will include a special section in conjunction
with Grand Marnier, featuring recipes and monthly theme-party ideas based on
characters from the primetime series.
