Hulu said it is the first U.S. streaming entertainment service to launch on the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo’s latest, greatest gaming platform.

Later today, Nintendo Switch owners can download Hulu from the Nintendo eShop and subscribe to Hulu’s core SVOD service for $7.99 per month or its Live TV/SVOD combo service for $39.99 per month, Richard Irving, Hulu’s VP of product, announced in a blog post.

Hulu subscribers will be able to watch the service at home or on the go via the Nintendo Switch, a $300 hybrid device that works as a console that connects to the TV and as a portable system.

In addition to Hulu’s live TV package with ESPN, Fox Sports, FX and A&E, Hulu on the Switch will also support premium add-ons such as HBO, Cinemax and Showtime, Irving noted.

Nintendo hasn’t announced when it might add other OTT video services to the Switch. Netflix, Amazon Instant Video and Hulu (the SVOD service) are among the streaming services already supported on Nintendo’s Wii U console.
