ALTERNA’TV

Miami-based Hispanic-TV network distributor Alterna’TV has named Roberto Perez senior director marketing and distribution for the U.S., Canada and Mexico. He comes from DirecTV, where he was a retention consultant.

ALTITUDE

Ben Boylan was named president of Denverbased regional sports network Altitude Sports & Entertainment. He had been the network’s senior VP, media sales.

CABLEVISION

Bethpage, N.Y.-based MSO Cablevision Systems has added Mickey Paxton as senior vice president and executive director of creative services. He comes from strategic production collective Jumpinfish LLC, where he was chief creative officer.

CSN MID-ATLANTIC

Sebastian Salazar has been named anchor and reporter at Comcast SportsNet Mid- Atlantic, based in Bethesda, Md. He returns to the channel after two years at CSN Houston, where he anchored the channel’s daily news program and was the beat reporter for Major League Soccer’s Houston Dynamo and Rice University athletics.

E!

John Najarian has been named executive vice president, news and digital for E!, adding responsibility for the network’s news division and E! News series.

Also, Jen Neal was named executive vice president, marketing, for E! and Esquire Network. She will retain her current responsibilities as head of E! marketing.

NBCUNIVERSAL

Evan Shapiro was named executive vice president, digital enterprises at NBCUniversal, responsible for company-wide strategic development of digital opportunities to reach emerging audiences. He had been president of Participant Media-owned cable network Pivot.

SIMULMEDIA

Kelly Mead has joined New York-based Simulmedia as vice president, program management. She comes from NPD Group, where she was VP, product management and client strategic development.

STARZ

Starz has elevated Brian Huggins to vice president, finance and planning, and Sue Provan to vice president, accounting, both based in Englewood, Colo. Huggins was executive director, finance; Provan was director of accounting.
