Len Marino has joined Irondale, Ala.-based EWTN Global Catholic Network as vice president, creative services. Formerly of CNN, Starz, Encore and Hallmark Entertainment Networks, he most recently was a consultant.



London-based audience analytics firm Genius Digital has hired Giles Cottle as director of consumer insight products. He comes from Freesat, where he was head of strategy.



Zurich, Switzerland based Joiz Global has named Samuel Gäwhiler managing director and Itai Aransohn head of product. Gähwiler was controller of digital operations at media company Tamedia; Aaronsohn had been head of business development at media agency Kumma.



Maureen Taran has joined truTV as executive in charge of talent, responsible for all talent logistics and casting initiatives for the ntwork. She comes from New Wave Entertainment, where she was VP, management and production.



Robyn Greene Arrington advanced to vice president original programming and production at TV One, based in New York. She has been a production executive with the network since 2004.



David Smyth has been elevated to senior vice president, sales and development at Twentieth Century Fox Television’s London office. He had been senior VP, sales and development.



Washington, D.C., law firm Wiley Rein has added Leo R. Fitzsimon as consulting counsel in its communications practice. He most recently served as head of government and industry affairs at Nokia.



Atlanta-based automated television advertising platform Videa has named Mary Barnas as vice president, platform adoption. She had been the head of Cox Cross Media, the new business development unit of Cox Reps.


Also, Archie Gianunzio has joined Videa as vice president, sales. He had formerly worked as VP, director of sales at Cox Reps.
