BBC Worldwide North America has named Susana Voets vice president, communications, based in Los Angeles. She had worked as an independent publicity and talent relations consultant after 14 years at Sony Pictures Television.

 

COMPORIUM

Karl Skroban was promoted to vice president, media content at Rock Hill, S.C.-based Comporium Communications. He will continue to manage and negotiate the MSO’s content agreements.

 

ENCOMPASS

Jonathan Goldstein was named senior vice president, North America sales and client services at Atlanta, Ga.- based Encompass. He had been president, Americas, at Snell, a provider of video-processing hardware and software to broadcasters.

 

NBCUNIVERSAL

Scott Stemmermann was named vice president, digital marketing at NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution. He had worked in digital distribution for Viacom Media Group.

 

PAC-12 NETWORKS

Heather Vaughan has been named vice president of marketing at Pac-12 Networks. She will remain as VP, marketing for the Pac-12 Conference.

 

SONAR

Axel Boehm was named senior vice president of international sales at Sonar Entertainment, based in Munich and responsible for Germany, Scandinavia, Benelux, Spain and Portugal.

Also, Patrick Phelan was named Munich-based vice president of international sales at Sonar, responsible for Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, the Middle East and Israel.

 

TRUTV

Raymond Dooley joined truTV in New York as vice president of marketing. He comes from SundanceTV, where he was also VP, marketing.

 

TURNER

Rachelle Savoia was upped to vice president, communications at Turner Broadcasting System, responsible for media relations and communications strategy for Turner Content Distribution. She had been director of communications.

Also, Turner advanced Deborah Bradley to executive vice president, networks and programming optimization, content strategy and commercialization, based in Atlanta. She had formerly served as senior VP, program acquisitions.

 

UNIVISION

Roberto Ruiz has been promoted to executive vice president of strategy and insights at Univision Communications, based in New York. He had been VP, strategy and insights since 2008.

 

THE WEATHER CO.

The Weather Co. has named Domenic Venuto as New York-based general manager of AdFx, responsible for the AdFX division and ad product team. He comes from Publicis Groupe’s VivaKi unit, where he was global president, data, technology and partnerships.
