Paul Rourke has joined the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) as executive vice president and chief financial officer. He comes from Viacom International Media Networks, where he was VP and CFO.

 

beIN SPORTS

Roy Meyeringh has been upped to vice president of business development and affiliate sales at Miamibased cable network beIN SPORTS USA. He had been senior director, business development and strategy since August 2013.

 

EPIX

Ian Puente was named senior vice president, business and legal affairs, at premium cable network Epix, based in New York. He comes from movie distributor Samuel Goldwyn Films, where he was general counsel and vice president, business development.

 

ESPN

ESPN has named Patrick Steigman as vice president, global digital content, responsible for overseeing the development of ESPN’s editorial content around the world.

 

Also, Chad Millman was upped to vice president, editorial director, domestic digital content. He had been editor in chief of ESPN the Magazine.

 

Alison Overholt has been named editor in chief of ESPN the Magazine, retaining her duties as editor in chief of ESPNW.

 

And senior vice president, digital product management Ryan Spoon was tapped to lead ESPN’s new Audience Development unit.

 

KESHET

Howard Burch was named head of drama at Keshet International’s Keshet UK unit. He comes from Vertigo Films, where he was head of television.

 

MSG The Madison Square Garden Co. has named Jordan Solomon as executive vice president for MSG Sports, responsible for the New York Knicks, New York Rangers and New York Liberty, as well as the NBA Development League’s Westchester Knicks. He comes from the National Basketball Association, where he was VP, team marketing and business operations.

 

SHOWTIME

Showtime Networks has elevated Tom Christie to chief operating officer of the premium programmer. The company veteran had been president of distribution, business development and network operations.

 

TURNER

Turner Broadcasting System has named Christine Merrifield as senior vice president, ad sales strategy and monetization, Turner Ad Sales, based in New York. She comes from MediaVest Worldwide, where she was president of investment and activation.
