21st CENTURY FOX

Chip Smith, co-founder, managing director and CEO of the Glover Park Group, has been tapped to succeed Mike Regan, the longtime executive vice president of global policy for 21st Century Fox, and Fox’s top D.C. executive. Smith will report to executive chairman Lachlan Murdoch and CEO James Murdoch and will be based in Washington and New York.

CISCO SYSTEMS

Cisco Systems has tapped Sean Welch as vice president of cable access. He had been president and CEO of cloud-based mobile acceleration service Kwicr.

CNN

CNN has elevated Courtney Sexton to vice president, CNN Films, based in Los Angeles. Also, Dana Panagopoulos was advanced to director of production, CNN Films and CNN Original Series; Molly Harrington advanced to manager, CNN Original Series; Alex Hannibal was hired as associate director, CNN Films; Ryan Robinson joined CNN as new business coordinator for the Los Angeles team; Sierra Cowan has joined as manager of development for CNN and HLN Original Series, based in New York; and Katie Isaacson was named development coordinator for the New York team.

HACKERAGENCY

HackerAgency, a global digital/direct-marketing firm, has named Kate Kemp group creative director and promoted Carrin Johnson to vice president of operations. The moves follow the announcement that Julie Rezek will join the agency as North American president in June. Kemp previously held positions at Tribal DDB, The Marketing Arm and Geometry Global. Johnson had been director of operations.

THE HIT HOUSE

Jesse Goodwin has been named vice president of music supervision at Los Angeles-based production and sound design company The Hit House, He comes from Seismic Productions, where he was music supervisor.

LIONSGATE

Agapy Kapouranis has been named executive vice president of global subscription video-on-demand at Liongsate. She had been senior VP, television and digital distribution.

RAYCOM SPORTS

Raycom Sports tapped Hunter Nickell as CEO. Nickell previously held leadership posts at Sports South, Fox Sports Net, Speed Channel, IMG College and Mulberry Street Media.

RIVADA NETWORKS

Broadband-communications services provider Rivada Networks has named Joseph J. Euteneur as co-CEO and chief financial officer, Americas. Over his 25-year career he has been an executive at such firms as Comcast, Qwest Communications and Sprint.

TV ONE

Rahsan-Rahsan Lindsay was named executive vice president of ad sales and marketing for TV One. Lindsay will lead and direct the network’s ad sales team across all regions. He will also oversee the strategic direction of the division, including national ad sales, direct response sales, pricing and planning. In addition, Lindsay will continue to spearhead the network’s annual upfront efforts.

TURNER

Turner Broadcasting System has elevated Melissa Chambless to senior vice president of brand marketing for TBS & TNT. She was VP, marketing for the networks.

Also, Peter Sherman has joined Turner as senior vice president, marketing strategy for TBS and TNT. He comes from Google, where he was product marketing lead for YouTube Gaming.

UP TV

Kendra Campbell-Milburn was named vice president of digital for UP TV. She will be responsible for enhancing UP’s cross-platform presence and developing additional digital revenue opportunities. Campbell-Milburn joins UP from digital marketing agency TVGLA, where she developed the firm’s strategy team and social division.
