John Hess has joined Entertainment Studios as vice president of Midwest sales, based in Chicago. He come from Carsey-Werner Domestic Television Distribution, where he was VP and sales manager.

Matthew E. Bunson has joined EWTN Global Catholic Network in Irondale, Ala., as a senior contributor to EWTN News.

Emily Miller was named senior political correspondent at One America News Network, based in the channel’s Washington, D.C., bureau. She comes from Foxowned TV station WTTG in Washington, D.C., where she was senior investigative reporter.

 

TRU OPTIK

Tru Optik, a Stamford, Conn.-based audience measurement and data management platform for over-the-top video providers, has added Michael Scott as chief revenue officer. He had been senior VP, strategic partnerships, of Cox Media Group’s Gamut platform.

 

SCRIPPS

Scripps Networks Interactive has named Jodi Scheer as director of programming for HGTV, DIY Network and Great American Country (GAC), based in Knoxville, Tenn. She had been director of programming at Food Network and Cooking Channel.

 

TURNER

Turner Broadcasting System’s TBS and TNT divisions have tapped Michael Bloom as senior vice president, unscripted series and specials. He comes from IMG, where he was senior VP of the agency’s Original Content group.

 

TV ONE

TV One has elevated Rahsan-Rahsan Lindsay to executive vice president, ad sales and marketing. The New York-based Lindsay will lead the network’s ad-sales team across all regions.

 

VIACOM

Viacom has elevated Bryson Gordon to executive vive president, data strategy, adding oversight of Viacom’s Marketing and Partner Insights Group to his duties.

 

WEATHER

Sandra Szahun has joined The Weather Channel as vice president of ad sales marketing, based in the network’s New York office. She comes from shoppable video form Joyus.com, where she was head of sales and branded content.

 

XSTREAM

Copenhagen, Denmark and Los Angeles-based over-the-top solut ions provider Xstream has tapped Greg Siefkin as vice president, North America. He comes from Clearleap/IBM, where he was director of sales.
