Sharmistha Chatterjee has joined Crown Media Family Networks as director, social media, based in Studio City, Calif. She comes from Variety, where she was director of marketing and social media for the entertainment-industry trade publication.

Mike Cullers has joined Dow Electronics in Tampa, Fla., as account manger for the 12Volt Audio and Video segment. He was district sales manager at Petra Industries.

FRONTIER

Michelle Wolloff was named senior vice president and general manager of Frontier Communications’s Southern California Westside territory, including Orange, Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties. She comes from AT&T Entertainment and Internet Services, where she was VP of sales, overseeing indirect sales through local sales partners and door-to-door.

Sports-first virtual MVPD fuboTV has named Jason Solinsky as chief technology officer. He comes from Google, where he led software engineers working on the company’s AdExchange and Double-click for Publishers products.

Lifetime has named Joanna Klein as senior vice president, scripted development, based in Los Angeles. She comes from The CW, where she was senior VP, development.

MEDIACOM

Mediacom Communications has promoted three executives: Jerold Lambert to group vice president, legal affairs; Timothy Hubert to vice president, accounting; and John Maccagnen to vice president, financial operations.

NBCUNIVERSAL

Edward A. Chuchla has been named chief real estate officer at NBCUniversal, responsible for the company’s real-estate profile of more than 500 properties. He comes from Las Vegas Sands Co., where he was senior VP, development.

PEBBLE BEACH

Pebble Beach Systems has elevated 10-year veteran Tom Gittins to CEO of the automation, content management and integrated layout specialist. He had been sales director.

SIMPLESTREAM

London-based Simple-stream has named Sam Orton-Jay as sales and marketing director of the live-streaming and live-to-VOD solutions vendor to the media and entertainment industry. The 14-year veteran has worked in business development, sales and strategy positions at Sonic Solutions, DivX and NeuLion.

Also, Mike Alexander has joined Simple Stream as an account director, leading commercial and operational activities for larger broadcasters using the company’s end-to-end solutions. He had been overseeing the ongoing development of Kingston Interactive Television.

TURNER SPORTS

Tina Shah was elevated to senior vice president of business affairs and associate general counsel at Turner Sports. The 15-year company veteran will continue to lead the legal team responsible for all of Turner Sports’s linear and digital business.

Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution has tapped Manuel Alduy as senior vice president, sales and development and managing director of the Paris office. He comes from Canal Plus Group, where he served as head of Canal OTT.
