Jason Canney has joined Denver-based AdGorilla as chief technology officer. He had been VP of architecture and engineering at Canoe Ventures, serving as the chief architect in defining all of Canoe’s system, software and data architecture.

David “Digger” Granville-Smith advanced to chief operating officer and chief financial officer at A+E Networks, based in New York. He adds the COO role to his current financial responsibilities.

C-SPAN

Rachel Katz was named to the newly created post of manager, affiliate relations at C-SPAN. She had been a marketing specialist at the public-affairs network.

DISCOVERY

Bernard Ross has joined Discovery Communications in the new post of Eurosport chief operating officer and general manager, Olympic Games. He comes from UEFA, where he was head of production for Euro 2016.

FOX NEWS CHANNEL

Kevin Lord was named executive vice president of Fox News Channel, Fox Business Networks and their digital outlets. He comes from Tegna, where he was senior VP and chief human resources officer.

Also, Tom Lowell was named vice president and managing editor of news at Fox News Channel. He had been executive producer of primetime series The Kelly File.

FUBOTV

Streaming service fuboTV has added Joel Armijo as chief financial officer, based in New York. He comes from AT&T AdWorks, where he was CFO.

HULU

Billy Rosenberg was named director of Hulu originals for comedy series. He joins the OTT platform from Party Over Here, a production shop owned by the principals of The Lonely Island, Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaeffer and Jorma Taccone.

KID GENIUS

Children’s TV veteran Margaret Loesch was named executive chairman of the Kid Genius Cartoon Channel. She most recently served as CEO of The Hub, the joint-venture kids’ channel owned by Hasbro and Discovery Communications.

KANTAR MEDIA

Manish Bhatia was named CEO of Kantar Media’s North American business. He comes from comScore, where he was chief revenue officer.

LEYARD

Leonie Rotermundt has joined Leyard as vice president of business development for EMEA. She comes from SIGHT, a system integrator for corporate and broadcast customers in the Benelux region.

MILLER BARONDESS

Attorney Jay Rakow has joined Los Angeles-based law firm Miller Barondess and will focus on media, entertainment and intellectual property. He comes from Paramount Pictures, where he was senior VP and general counsel.

SPIKE TV

Spike TV has named Red Fabbri to the new post of vice president, fan engagement and editorial. He comes from website Elite Daily, where he was head of audience.

STUDIO71

Los Angeles-based multichannel network Studio71 has added Naomi Lennon as talent manager. She had been an independent talent manager within the digital space.

STX ENTERTAINMENT

Patricia Röckenwagner has been named chief communciations officer at STX Entertainment. She comes from Advance Vixeid Partners, an independent investment arm of Advance Publications and Condé Nast.

VIVA

OTT systems provider Viva Entertainment Group has named Thomas Ashley to its board of directors. Ashley is the founder and CEO of FlixFling.
