A+E Networks has named Lea Goldman to the newly created post of editor in chief, Lifetime and FYI, responsible for brand-focused editorial strategy and facilitating content creation and curation for use on-air and across digital and social platforms in a consistent voice. She comes from Refinery29, where she was editorial director.

Also, Tiffanie Darke was named editor in chief, A&E and History, also a new post. She was creative content director at NewsUK.

BYU

Michael A. Dunn has been named the new managing director of Provo, Utah-based Brigham Young University’s BYU Broadcasting, including cable network BYUtv. He is the former GM of PBS station KUED in Salt Lake City.

COMCAST

Comcast has elevated Ed Brassel to executive vice president of enterprise business intelligence at Comcast Cable and NBCUniversal, leading business intelligence and analytics efforts at the cable unit and across NBCU’s television, film and theme park properties.

CROWN MEDIA

Crown Media Family Networks has tapped Samantha DiPippo as vice president, development, for Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, a new post. She had been director of coproductions and acquisitions at Lifetime.

EPIX

Sandy Ashendorf has been named executive vice president of content distribution at EPIX. She comes from BBC Worldwide America, where she was executive VP of distribution, responsible for managing domestic affiliate sales and marketing initiatives for the company’s U.S. Assets including BBC America and BBC World News.

FREEFORM

Amit Ziv has joined Freeform as vice president, strategy development. He comes from EPIX, where he was senior VP, business operations, development and strategy.

IM GLOBAL

Betty Chen has joined IM Global Productions in Los Angeles as senior vice president of business affairs of international distribution and co-productions. She comes from ITV Global Entertainment, where she was VP of business affairs.

Also, Tyler Massey was named vice president of international distribution and co-productions. He had been a consultant to IM Global.

LUCKY 8 TV

Bruce Robertson has joined New York-based production company Lucky 8 TV as executive vice president, creative strategy. He had been executive VP, creative strategy at ITV Studios America.

Also, Zach Perkins and Rachael Profiloski were named directors of development at Lucky 8.

David Brownfield was named executive vice president at Los Angeles-based The Mark Gordon Co., responsible for supervising production activities for current series and developing premium TV content. He comes from Eleven Stitches Productions, CBS Television Studios, where he was executive producer.

MUSIC CHOICE

Nadine Santos has been upped to director, programming and artist relations, at Music Choice, responsible for programming the company’s pop music stations, including Top 40, Hot AC and Country formats.

TBS & TNT

Jenny Ramirez has joined TBS & TNT as vice president of unscripted programming. She joins the programmer from Irwin Entertainment, where had served in the role of senior VP, development.
