Bravo Media And Celebrity Cruises Set Sail With New Original Digital Series “Isaac Takes On”

New Video Series Featuring “Top Chef” Fan Favorite Isaac Toups Launches Today on BravoTV.com and CelebrityCruises.com 3/20/2017 11:45 AM

NEW YORK -– Bravo Media and Celebrity Cruises announced today an exciting new element of their multiyear partnership with the launch of a new original digital video series, titled “Isaac Takes On.” The series follows “Top Chef” fan favorite Isaac Toups as he travels through the Caribbean on a Celebrity Cruises vacation, competing against tastemakers in a wide variety of culinary challenges. The award-winning Celebrity Reflection and its onboard team, plus the modern luxury brand’s own Michelin-starred chef, Cornelius Gallagher, will make appearances throughout the episodes as Isaac tackles everything from whipping up a world-class omelet and creating specialty cocktails, to concocting the traditional Puerto Rican dish, Mofongo. “We’re thrilled to work with Celebrity to create engaging, premium video content that feels so authentic for both of our brands,” said Laura Molen, Executive Vice President, Lifestyle and Hispanic Advertising Sales Group, NBCUniversal. “We’ve seen the tastemaker audience of Bravo crave more online content and a series like this is the perfect way to satisfy that appetite and work with a marketer in a way that only NBCUniversal can.”

“With the launch of ‘Isaac Takes On,’ Bravo is reinforcing its commitment to developing original digital content,” said Lisa Hsia, Executive Vice President, Digital, Bravo and Oxygen Media. “We’re excited to deepen our partnership with Celebrity Cruises and continue to push the boundaries of digital storytelling by creating snack-able content appealing to fans’ passion points including travel, food, pop culture and beyond.”

Starting today, “Isaac Takes On” will air three new episodes weekly through April 3rd. The nine episode digital series will be available on bravotv.com and will highlight Celebrity Cruises branding within the programming.

“We are excited about this partnership as it gives our guests a peek into what it takes to develop and invent exquisite culinary creations using top quality ingredients inspired by different cultures from around the world,” Cornelius Gallagher, Associate Vice President, Food and Beverage Operations, Celebrity Cruises.

The video series will receive significant social promotion across Bravo’s digital platforms and will take advantage of NBCUniversal’s Social Sync offering, expanding the web series reach with target consumers across the social pages of NBCUniversal talent and properties.

Celebrity has partnered with “Top Chef” since 2013. In November 2014 these two brands kicked off the exclusive “Top Chef at Sea” experience. The program offers fans and foodies the ultimate opportunity to vacation with an incredible lineup of cheftestants on the exclusive “Top Chef Signature Sailing” each year.

Celebrity will also continue to offer interactive Quickfire Challenges and “Top Chef”-inspired menu evenings on its modern luxury vacations available fleetwide (excluding Galapagos sailings), for all sailings five nights and greater departing through June 2017.

“Isaac Takes On” is produced by the Emmy Award-winning Magical Elves with Dan Cutforth, Jane Lipsitz, Doneen Arquines and Casey Kriley serving as executive producers.
