Upfronts 2014: TBS Renews Conan

TBS has re-signed late night talk host Conan O’Brien through 2018, the network announced Wednesday morning.

O’Brien will continue to host the network’s Conan late-night series, which is averaging 862,000 viewers year to date in Live + 7 delivery, reaching more adults 18-34 than late night competitors The Late Night Show With David Letterman, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Arsenio Hall Show, Chelsea Lately and Watch What Happens: Live. Conan airs Monday-Thursday at 11 p.m. on TBS.

"Over the past four years, we have built a terrific relationship with Conan O'Brien and are thrilled to be extending his series for another three years," said Michael Wright, president, head of programming for TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies (TCM) in a statement. "Conan has not only brought an incredibly young audience to TBS but has also created a digital presence that draws millions of fans to his unique brand of comedy.”
