Mike Schwartz, who has headed up media relations at CableLabs for the last 22 years — essentially since it was formed in the late ’90s — is leaving the R&D consortium to pursue other opportunities.
“I’ve seen it really blossom into a world-class organization, and I’m proud to have been a part of that,” he said.
Asked why he was leaving, Schwartz said it was “just time” to move on after such a long stint. Schwartz said he’ll be consulting for CableLabs on an interim basis at least through the end of July, until a replacement is named.
