Gunning For NBC Sports Group's Biggest BPL Audience

Big match in the Barclays Premier League on Sunday: Table-topper Arsenal travels to Old Trafford, where Manchester United is still trying to get its footing under Sir Alex’ successor David Moyes.

The Nov. 10 fixture kicks off at 11:10 (ET) on NBCSN and Telemundo. Will Aaron Ramsey, Olivier Giroud and the Gunners steel themselves as true contenders to take the title? Or is this when Robbie Van Persie, Wayne Rooney and the Red Devils start their ascent into the upper echelon?

Does this Big 4 contest challenge the 852,000 viewers that ManU-Manchester City drew on Sept. 22 as the top cable audience since the NBC Sports Group began covering the circuit in August? Or can the tally push higher, threatening NBC’s best Premier League performance – the 991,000 average for Arsenal-Liverpool on Nov. 2 – or the 1.03 million for ESPN’s ManU-Man City telecast on April 30, 2012, the circuit’s all-time best cable mark?

Monday’s Nielsens will provide that answer.

Heading into coverage on Nov. 9, the following are NBC Sports Group’s top 10 BPL telecasts:
