The World's Biggest Couch Potato

Toronto resident Suresh Joachim has watched 72 hours of TV straight — three seasons of Fox’s 24  in a row — to break his own Guinness world record for “nonstop broadcast-television watching. “I feel fine, I drank between 25 and 30 cups of coffee,” Joachim said Sunday after the feat in Stockholm, Sweden, according to the AP. His previous record was 69 hours, 48 minutes, set in 2005.

Turns out, Mr. Joachim is not a huge fan of TV per se — his shtick is breaking records. He holds more than 30 world records, according to his official Web site, including crawling one mile in 37 minutes and 17 seconds.

Um… nice work if you can get it?
