WE: Women's Entertainment announced Monday that 14 city mayors will link with
its upcoming promotion by proclaiming March 28 as "Me Time Day."
The idea of the Me Time promotion, sponsored by Johnson & Johnson's
Aveeno skin-care line, is that women set aside time on that date to recognize
the importance of self-care for women as a way to restore their sense of
Among the mayors who have signed Me Time proclamations, WE said, are New
York's Michael Bloomberg, Los Angeles' James Han, San Francisco's Willie Brown,
Boston's Thomas Menino, Atlanta's Shirley Franklin, Dallas' Laura Miller and
Washington, D.C.'s Anthony Williams.
The network as of March 1 will begin heavy promotion of Me Time features on
its Internet site (www.we.tv), as well as of a
related Me Time sweepstakes throughout that month.
