Fox Latin American Channels said Monday that its new Fox Life network has more than 1.5 million subscribers one week after its launch.
The network is aimed at women 18-49, and it airs comedy, drama, movies and shows, all of which are making their Latin American debuts.
Among series airing on Fox Life: Kitchen Confidential, from the creator of Sex and the City; Jake in Progress with John Stamos; Beach Girls, starring Rob Lowe; How I Met Your Mother; The War at Home; Ally McBeal; animated series X-Chromosome; and Latin-American soap operas including Los Treinta, Ladrón de Corazones and Amor en Custodia.
“Fox Life is the first channel for women who do not expect a women’s channel,” Fox Latin American Channels president and Fox Channels U.K managing director Hernán López said in a prepared statement. “That means a channel outside the stereotype, with content that enriches both the soul and the neurons.”
