21st Century Fox Becomes Official Media Partner of 2014 USA Games

Cable Channels, Broadcast Network, Local Stations Will Air Action from Special Olympics Event Next June

21st Century Fox has become a founding partner of the 2014 USA Games.

As the official presenting media sponsor of  the Special Olympics USA Games that will be held  in New Jersey from June 14-21, 21st Century Fox will provide exposure on its various outlets, including Fox News Channel, Fox Business Network, Fox Broadcasting, Fox Sports, FX, National Geographic Channel, 28 local stations, as well as Fox Sports 1, which will air a one-hour recap special.  Deal terms were not disclosed.

Nearly 3,500 special athletes will travel to New Jersey next  June to compete in 16 Olympic-style team and individual sports, with the support of 1,000 coaches, 10,000 volunteers and an anticipated 70,000 spectators. Celebrating the Special Olympics movement, the 2014 USA Games will be staged throughout Mercer County, including competitions at Princeton University, Rider University, The College of New Jersey and Mercer County Park, with the Opening Ceremony taking place at Prudential Center in Newark. 

As presenting media sponsor of the 2014 USA Games, 21st Century Fox has committed to exposure across its cable and broadcast networks as well as its local stations, notably WNYW and WWOR in New York and WTXF in Philadelphia.
