ABC Cable Networks Group announced Tuesday the management team of its new
worldwide-branding group, which will provide research, marketing and branding
strategies for each of the division's domestic and international networks.
Sandy Wax was promoted to senior vice president of brand strategy and
planning. Adam Sanderson was named senior vice president of brand marketing.
Both report to Eleo Hensleigh, executive vice president of worldwide brand
John Rood was appointed vice president of brand marketing. Scott Fuller is
vice president of brand management. Vycki Smaldino was promoted to vice
president of brand services. The three report to Sanderson.
Wholly owned networks in the cable group include Disney Channel, Toon Disney,
SoapNet and the nascent Playhouse Disney. The group also manages ABC's interests
in Lifetime Television, A&E Television Networks and E! Networks, as well as
Disney television brands internationally.
