ABC Family announced Thursday that its "25 Days of Christmas" programming
stunt will start Dec. 8, with affiliates being pitched to tie in with local
ad-sales and marketing promotions.
Last year the network's participating affiliates garnered a combined $7
million in local ad revenues, senior vice president of affiliate sales and
marketing Todd Schoen estimated.
Systems are required to run 200 promos during the promotion period (Nov.
24-Dec. 7) and 150 tune-in spots during the tune-in period.
An enter-to-win sweepstakes will award one national grand prize -- $25,000 in
