ABC Family has a casting call for teens who ever dreamed of throwing down a 360-degree dunk or performing a triple axel.
The network is looking for three candidates to switch lives with pro athletes on its afternoon Switched series. Working in conjunction with “VERB” -- the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention initiative encouraging kids to get active on a daily basis -- the network is inviting viewers aged 13-16 to log on to its Web site (abcfamily.go.com/home.html) between May 7-27 to find out how to send audition tapes so they can be considered for the show.
Three teens will be cast in the special sports-fantasy episodes that are slated to air in late August. Additionally, the network will air two other athletically themed episodes as part of its “Sports Fantasy SwitchedWeek” stunt.
