Burbank, Calif. — ABC Family has acquired 25 original, never-before-seen episodes of Whose Line Is It Anyway?, officials said Wednesday.
Those shows will begin airing Jan. 17 at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. (ET), the networks said.
The cable network secured the shows as part of the extension of its multiyear off-network rights deal with Warner Bros. Domestic Cable Distribution. Whose Line began airing on ABC Family in January 2002, running weeknights at 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. (ET).
“Whose Line is a continual strong performer with a loyal audience for ABC Family,” network senior vice president of program acquisitions and scheduling Tom Zappala said in a statement. “These never-before-seen episodes will be exciting for our viewers and give us a great opportunity to showcase them.”
