ABC Family Greenlights 'Kevin From Work' Comedy Series

ABC Family will continue to build its comedy series lineup with a new series Kevin From Work, said network officials.

The single-camera, half-hour series stars Noah Reid (Backpackers) as Kevin, a young man who professes his love for co-worker Audrey (Paige Spara) in a letter before taking a job oversees, but finds himself having to return to his old job with his feelings for Audrey now exposed.

The series will debut later this summer, according to ABC Family. Kevin From Work joins Baby Daddy, Young & Hungry and Melissa & Joey on ABC Family’s comedy series slate.

“Single camera represents the evolution of our comedy brand,“ said Karey Burke, executive vice president, programming & development for ABC Family in a statement. ”Kevin From Work is an endearingly awkward love story – this time from the guys’ point of view.”
