ABC Family president Paul Lee has completed putting his own programming and development team in place.
Kate Juergens has been named senior vice president of original series, programming and development, the network said Tuesday.
In addition, Brooke Bowman and Mina Lefevre will serve as executive directors, programming and development, both reporting to Juergens.
Juergens will oversee and be responsible for primetime original series and specials, reports to Lee, who joined ABC Family from BBC America this year. Juergens had been a consultant for ABC Family since January.
Gary Marsh, executive VP of original programming and production for Disney ABC Cable Networks Group, will continue to oversee movies for ABC Family, in addition to his duties supervising all original programming for Disney Channel and Playhouse Disney.
Juergens had previously served as senior VP of development for The WB Television Network, where she oversaw such hit series as Smallville and The Gilmore Girls.
Bowman most recently was executive director of development for Buena Vista Productions, while Lefevre had been manager of programming and development for ABC Family, but she will now expand her responsibilities to include scripted shows, in addition to reality series and specials.
Former ABC Family head of programming Linda Mancuso died of cancer late last year.
