ABC Family has renewed scripted drama The Fosters for a third campaign and also announce the pick-up of a new unscripted skein, centering on the labor market.
The Fosters, produced by ABC Family and Jennifer Lopez's Nuyorican Productions, averaged 2.6 million total viewers last summer, when gauged on a Nielsen live-plus seven basis. The second half of its sophomore run is scheduled to debut Jan. 19.
The network is also ready to go to work with new unscripted entry Job or No Job, which tracks young adults seeking employment. The series is produced by Studio Lambert and All3Media America.
