ABC Family's gymnastics drama Make It or Break It has made it.
The network has ordered an additional 10 episodes, bringing its first-season total to 20. The additional installments are tentatively scheduled to return in the first quarter of 2010, according to network officials.
The one-hour scripted drama, set in the world of competitive gymnastics, follows a group of teen Olympic hopefuls as they train and prepare for their day in the spotlight.
With an average audience of 2.1 million total viewers, the Make It or Break It is ABC Family's second most-watched series behind The Secret Life of the American Teenager.
Airing at 9 p.m. on Mondays, the show ranks as TV's top program in the time slot against female teens, with a 4.6 rating against that demo, ranks as cable's No. 1 program among females 12 to 34 with a 2.3 average, and is the leading scripted series on all cable among women 18 to 34 at a 1.5 rating.
