Gains New Streaming Engine

users a better way to hunt for streaming audio and video on its site, striking a
deal with InfoSpace Inc. to provide its "WebCrawler" meta-search engines.

In return, InfoSpace will funnel streaming audio and video
content -- including segments from top news programs such as Good Morning
, 20/20 and PrimeTime Thursday -- to Verizon
Communications' Verizon Online digital-subscriber-line customers.

InfoSpace has a distribution deal with Verizon, providing the Baby Bell with
its broadband-media-player application.

InfoSpace's newest search-engine technology allows users to query multiple
search engines at once, thereby collecting a more complete set of results. The
engine sniffs out information on other brand search engines including Google (, FAST (, Overture (, About Inc.
(, Ask Jeeves Inc. (, (, LookSmart Ltd. (, Open Directory ( and Inktomi Corp. (
