Actiontec Electronics debuted an expanded line of IPTV-capable consumer-premises equipment for service providers.
The vendor introduced the GT724WG 54-megabit-per-second wireless digital-subscriber-line gateway; the BA214WG wireless dual DSL gateway; and the KI414WG and VI414WGwireless video-over-DSL gateways.
“With these products, Actiontec is now a one-stop source of CPE equipment for IP-video distribution," CEO Dean Chang said in a prepared statement. "We can now meet all WAN [wide-area-network] and LAN [local-area-network] needs and preferences with best-in-class gateways that can be configured to accommodate the specific requirements of the customer.”
