Adelphia Communications Corp. said Friday that it has extended the deadline for bidding on its assets until the end of January.
Bids were originally due Jan. 16.
Adelphia has been on the block since April, and it is expected to attract bids ranging from $17 billion-$20 billion.
The company split its 5.2 million subscribers into seven separate clusters. Bidders can make offers for all or parts of the company.
The MSO filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in June 2002.
