Adelphia Communications Corp. asked the U.S. Bankruptcy Court Friday for
permission to enter into a lease agreement for about 42,000 square feet of
office space in a Denver suburb.

In the court documents, Adelphia said it would lease the seventh and eighth
floors of the Terrace Tower II in Greenwood Village, Colo., for about $70,600
per month for five years. Comcast Corp. had previously occupied the space.

Also in the documents, Adelphia said it estimated that total one-time costs
for the move would be about $2.2 million and that recurring costs would be
$825,000 per year.
