Adelphia Settles Into Denver Digs

Adelphia Communications Corp.'s top brass has indeed gone west, settling into
new digs in a south Denver metro office building that at one time was home to
Tele-Communications Inc.

Adelphia started moving in to the Terrace Tower II office building in the
Denver Tech Center at the end of April, and so far, some 60 employees have made
the move from the MSO's former base of Coudersport, Pa.

Another 20 or 30 employees will be moving in by the end of June or July,
according to spokesman Eric Andrus.

In all, there will 80 or 90 Adelphia employees in Denver -- fewer than
originally projected, Andrus said.

"Original projections were over 100, but it looks like there is a lot of good
work being done in Coudersport, so we are going to keep that work going on
there," he said.

Those who will remain in Coudersport include systems support, accounting,
billing, outbound calling, logistics, vendor relations, facilities, tech
support, fleet management and engineering.

The Denver headquarters will house those who report directly to CEO Bill
Schleyer and chief operating officer Ron Cooper. They include chief financial
officer Vanessa Whittman and chief administrative officer Joe Bagen, as well as
programming and customer-care executives.

Eventually, it will also include the MSO's general counsel, when that
position is filled.
