Adelphia Media Services' Western region reported Monday that Adelphia
Communications Corp.'s systems in Southern California and Colorado Springs,
Colo., were given 18,000 toys for its five-week 'Toys For Tots' drive in
conjunction with the U.S. Marine Corps.
Adelphia Media Services is that MSO's ad-sales arm.
More than 500 of Adelphia's local clients participated in Toys for Tots
promotional spots to drive consumers bearing unwrapped toys to drop-off
Alamo Car Rental alone participated at 16 locations, the MSO said.
Adelphia also praised ABC Family and Nickelodeon for the toys they donated to
kick off the drive.
