A&E to Air Napoleon Miniseries

Principal photography is slated to begin May 21 on Napoleon, an
eight-hour miniseries that will make its North American premiere on A&E
Network during the first quarter of 2003.

Featuring an international cast and a shooting schedule that will take talent
and crew throughout the Continent, the sweeping biopic -- which will be
highlighted by six major battle sequences -- is being directed by Yves Simoneau
(Nuremberg).

Napoleon will be filmed during a 22-week shoot on location in France,
Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Canada and the Island of Saint Helena,
where Napoleon died.

Christian Clavier (Les Miserables, Just Visiting) portrays the
French Emperor consumed by domination of 19th century Europe.
Isabella Rosellini (Napoleon's wife, Josephine) John Malkovich (diplomat Charles
Maurice Talleyrand), Gerard Depardieu (security chief Joseph Foulke) and Anouk
Aimee (Napoleon's mother, Letizia) are among the members of the international
cast.

Napoleon is a co-production of A&E Television Networks; GMT Productions
and Transifilm Inc. (Canada); Spice Factory (Great Britain); DD Productions and
France 2 (France); KirchMedia (Germany); RAI (Italy); Telecino (Spain); and Ma
Films and Asp (Hungary).
