A&E Network announced Monday that it will reair a special episode of
NBC's dramatic series, Third Watch, Oct. 29.
The two-hour show -- which initially ran on NBC Oct. 15 -- features series
cast members, who portray a group of emergency personnel, interacting with their
real-life New York City counterparts.
A&E executives said the special airing is not a prelude to a potential
repurposing deal with NBC for the series.
A&E acquired exclusive off-network television rights last month to
Third Watch, which it will begin airing in 2002.
'We are excited to have this opportunity to air an encore presentation of
this very special episode of Third Watch,' A&E senior vice president
of programming Allen Sabinson said.
