A&E's `Jacksons' Series Debuts With 2.3 Million Viewers


The Dec. 13 premiere of A&E's The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty reality series garnered 2.3 million viewers, according to Nielsen reports.
The series, which chronicles the lives of the four surviving members of the legendary R&B group the Jackson 5 - Jackie, Marlon, Tito and Jermaine Jackson -- drew 2.3 million viewers for its 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. premiere, according to Nielsen. A second one-hour episode following immediately after the premiere drew an additional 1.8 million viewers.
The six-part series airs Sundays at 10 p.m.
The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty is the second new A&E reality series to draw a big audience this month: the Dec. 2 debut of Steven Seagal Lawman, which centers on the film star and martial experts in his life as a law enforcement officer in New Orleans, scored a network record 3.4 million viewers.
