The Africa Channel has reached an affiliate deal with Harron Communications for the provider to carry the network on its MetroCast Cable Systems, serving students at Mississippi State University.
The network is available on channel 40 of the system's basic package tier, reaching students at the university. Deal terms were not disclosed.

"The channel is an essential tool in presenting exclusive content and raising awareness about all things Africa and we are excited to showcase our high-quality array of first-run programming to the students."
