Al Jazeera America To Air President Obama Docu-Series

Al Jazeera America on April 7 will its last original documentary before shutting its doors officially on April 12, the network said Monday.

The four-part documentary, The Limits Of Hope: Inside Obama's White House, provide an exlusive look at President Obama's time in the White House, including exclusive interviews with Obama himself, former Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, political advisor David Axelrod, senior advisor Valerie Jarrett, Representative Nancy Pelosi, former chief of staff Rahm Emanuel, former attorney general Eric Holder, former CIA Director Leon Panetta, and economic advisor Christina Romer, said network officials. 

The Limits of Hope: Inside Obama’s White House is co-produced by Al Jazeera America with Brook Lapping and the BBC, the 4-part series is overseen by producer Norma Percy.

The announcement comes as Al Jazeera America is preparing to go off the air on April 12.
