Altitude Sports & Entertainment will telecast a baker’s dozen worth of Colorado Rapids Major League Soccer matches this season.
The regional sports network will kick off its Rapids coverage April 30 when the club hosts the MetroStars at 7 p.m. (MST).
Altitude will then present 12 more regular-season games of the Rapids throughout the season, including contests against Western Conference rivals the Los Angeles Galaxy, Club Deportivo Chivas USA and Real Salt Lake, as well as MLS competitor the New England Revolution.
The regional sports network will also televise two Rapids games against defending MLS Cup Champion the San Jose Earthquakes.
A total of 10 of the telecasts will air on Saturdays, two on Wednesdays and one on Sunday.
Altitude will also televise select games in both English and Spanish via secondary audio programming.
“The Rapids have developed a loyal and passionate following during the team’s 10 years in Denver,” Altitude chief operating officer Matt Hutchings said in a prepared statement. “We look forward to bringing their exciting style of soccer to an even wider audience in the region via Altitude.”
