Amazon’s Prime Instant Video service will have exclusive access to BBC America’s hit series Orphan Black as part of a licensing agreement between the two parties.
Prime subscribers will have access to all seasons of the gritty drama series, starring Golden Globe-nominated Tatiana Maslany, said BBC America officials. The first season of the series is currently available on the service.
Season two of the series will premiere on BBC America April 19.
“Orphan Black is exactly the type of smart, suspenseful TV show that our customers love to binge on,” said Brad Beale, Director of Digital Video Content Acquisition for Amazon in a statement “We’re excited to offer the first and future seasons exclusively to Prime members at no additional cost, continuing our tradition of offering a wide variety of great content we know our customers will enjoy.”
