Amazon Signs First Look Deal With ‘Game Of Thrones' Producer Vince Gerardis

Amazon Studios has reached a first look deal with Game Of Thrones producer Vince Gerardis, the studio said Wednesday.

Amazon will have access to Gerardis’ extensive intellectual property library from top science fiction and fantasy authors such as Robert Silverberg, David Brin, Greg Bear and Jack Vance from which to create original series, according to Amazon.

“Vince has his fingertips on a ‘library of worlds,’ and I’m excited about the prospects of building multiple series with him,” said Sharon Yguado, Head of Scripted Genre Programming for Amazon Studios in a statement.

Along with serving as a co-executive producer of HBO’s Game Of Thrones, Gerardis will also produce on the show’s upcoming spin-off series at HBO. Previously, Gerardis founded and ran Created By, a literary management and production company.
