Amazon's 'Annedroids' To Debut Season Two In July

Amazon will premiere the second season if its original kids-targeted series Annedroids in July, the network said Monday.

The series, which follows the exploits of young female scientist Anne and her friends, will premiere its second season July 2, the OTT service said. The second season of Annedroids finds Anne and friends back in the junkyard for more experiments, taking their adventures to the next level.

“We’re excited to bring to our customers another season of adventures with Anne and her friends, as they embark on more scientific discovery,” said Tara Sorensen, Head of Kids Programming at Amazon Studios. “J.J. Johnson and Sinking Ship have successfully developed a strong, relatable female character at the helm of a children’s series that organically weaves in the STEM curriculum to kids.”
